The client:
NESTA (The National Endowment for Science, Technology &
the Arts)
The brief:
To produce a dynamic marketing and advocacy brochure to
document the successes of the national ‘Adopt an Author’
education scheme.
The format:
A5 32pp full-colour brochure featuring 8 case studies.
The concept:
For each case study I interviewed participating authors,
class teachers and pupils. I then distilled their experiences
into powerful testimonials. I sourced and worked closely
with the designer throughout the process.
The feedback:
‘NESTA funded the 'Adopt an Author' project which
brought together writers and pupils through the use of the
internet and other new technologies. Max Crisfield worked
on the 'Adopt an Author' brochure, writing copy as well
as handling design and production. The final printed report
looked great, and did a really good job of telling the story
of the project in an attractive and accessible way. We were
delighted with the work.’
